Today we continue our series on the Texas governor’s race by looking at one of the most important issues facing our state: taxes.

Unfortunately, Bill White’s position on taxes is not a good one. No, I’m not referring to his tax plans for the state. I’m talking about his refusal to release his personal income tax returns. As a measure of transparency, public officials routinely release their tax returns so that the voters can see who they have invested with, where they have money, and if they’ve paid their income taxes. Unfortunately, Bill White refuses to release his tax returns from the years that he was serving in the Clinton administration. Kind of suspicious, don’t you think?

And if we can’t trust Bill White with his own taxes, why should we trust him with ours?

Before Bill White starts measuring the curtains for his new office in the Texas Capitol, he should talk to Kay Bailey Hutchison:

People have already started to forget that Hutchison was a huge favorite to win the GOP nomination for governor. Only she didn’t. Not even close. In fact, she ended up losing by 20 points. How did this happen to one of the state’s most popular elected officials? It happened because she ran against one of the state’s best campaigners in Rick Perry.

I predict that Bill White is about to face a similar unhappy experience on November 2.

This week our blog will focus on the upcoming governor’s election in Texas.

A new poll out this past weekend has the race tightening a bit, with Rick Perry holding a seven point lead over Bill White. But as I will explain in this blog this week, I don’t think it will be that close. I’ll show you why I think Perry will win big, and why he should win big.

So check out the blog this week and get ready to vote this November!

Life is what happens to us while we’re making other plans.

That’s an old saying that I’ve learned to appreciate over the years. As readers of this blog know, I was planning to make an announcement last Friday. And while that announcement is still coming, we’re having to work out a few details. This is a great reminder that things don’t always go according to plan. But they always work out in the end.

So stay tuned. The announcement will come. And it will be worth the wait!

Today we continue our series on the patent process by talking about the most important part: a new idea.

http://www.drybiomass.com/dvdorder/

As the video above demonstrates, biomass has the power to change energy policy in our country and in our world. But there is a catch: we haven’t had a way to dry the moisture out of the wood chips that fuel biomass.

Until now. The Advanced Trailer has the ability to dry, store and transport the wood chips and thereby make the dream of a biomass future that much closer to reality. That’s why it’s such great news that the Advanced Trailer has its own patent. Now we can market our trailer with the official sanction of the US government without any fear of losing our intellectual property. Our only goal is to change energy policy in this country. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
