LUBBOCK, Texas (October 28, 2011) – - Football and NASCAR will collide this weekend when Randy Hill Racing’s No. 08 Texas Tech University (TTU) Ford Mustang will be displayed on their home turf Saturday when the College Football team takes on Iowa State.

The black, white and red blue oval’s presence at Raider Alley starting at 12:00 p.m. kicks-off the pre-race activities for the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge race set to take place at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) the following weekend on Saturday, November 5th.

“We’re looking forward to having our race car on display at Texas Tech this weekend,” said car owner Randy Hill. “It’s an awesome feeling when two spectacle sports like Football and Auto Racing are able to unite together like we are doing next weekend at Texas. I encourage everyone to come out and see the car and root on the team.”

Randy Hill Racing will make another team announcement early next week surrounding Hill’s inaugural expected debut at his hometown racetrack.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge (200 laps / 300 miles) is the 32nd of 34 events on the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule. The first practice session of the week begins on Friday, November 4th, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am. The final “happy hour” practice session will run from 10:40 am to 11:55 am. Qualifying is set for later on Friday at 5:35 pm. The field will take the green flag at 11:55 am on Saturday November 5th with live coverage on ESPN2, the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite, Channel 90). Pre-race coverage of the contest lifts off at 11 am on ESPN2.

CONCORD, North Carolina (October 11, 2011) – - After making an appearance on the road course of Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International and the one-mile oval of Dover (Del.) International Speedway, NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) rookie driver Casey Roderick and his Randy Hill Racing (RHR) team will take another leap in their racing efforts by attempting to compete at an intermediate track for the running of Friday night’s Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Located in the backyard of Charlotte, North Carolina, CMS will be the first of two planned speedway races for the new formed RHR team owned by Texas entrepreneur Randy Hill. After a combination effort at WGI with Go Green Racing (GGR) and Jay Robinson Racing (JRR) at Dover, RHR is primed to shine in their own spotlight in their No. 08 Randy Hill Racing Ford Mustang.

“I’m super pumped about Friday night,” said Roderick, a winner in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. “Charlotte is an extremely fast track and carries a lot of excitement, but that’s something I love. The biggest thing is to get our No. 08 Randy Hill Racing Ford Mustang handling good so we can have a strong starting spot and an even better finish.”

Knowing that he’ll have to make the Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage on-time as the team is not guaranteed a starting berth, Roderick isn’t afraid of the potential obstacle knowing that he’s in good hands when it comes to crew chief Jeff Spraker.

“Jeff is a guy that never sleeps,” Roderick explained. “If you’re looking for a true definition of a racer, Jeff fits that to a tee.  He wants to go to Charlotte this week and run well and there isn’t a question in my mind with his knowledge and the support of RoushYates Engines that we can get our goals accomplished on Friday night.”

When asked what those goals are for Friday, the Lawrenceville, Georgia replied by saying, “We want to finish the race of course. I would like to think we’ll have a good enough car to finish inside the top-15, but we’ll take a top-20 for sure. For me, it’s about earning the respect of my competitors while also continuing to learn about these race cars and putting Randy Hill Racing in the limelight as much as we can. This all would not be possible without him.”

For Hill, he’s amped for racing under the lights and seeing his new team in action.

“I’m blessed to be associated with a lot of great people and a talented driver,” said Hill, a native of Baird, Texas. “We’re excited about going to Charlotte for a lot of reasons. But, we’re also enthused, because we genuinely feel like we can go out there and spark some attention and give everyone a preview of what will be to come with Randy Hill Racing.”

For crew chief and Motorsports veteran Jeff Spraker, he is eager to see the success of Randy Hill Racing blossom on the track.

“We’ve been working hard on our No. 08 Randy Hill Racing Ford Mustang,” offered Spraker, a former driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. “Casey is an incredibly talented driver and Randy is a successful businessman who has come into NASCAR with a plan and to make a name for himself. He’s given us the equipment and assets to do that. If we can stay out of trouble, we should be in good position to have a good night.”

Instead of sporting their normal purple paint scheme for Friday night’s anticipated rumble, the team has decked out their blue oval in pink to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

“It was a joint decision between us all to change the paint scheme for this weekend,” said Hill. “This weekend is about remembering those who have lost their life to this horrible disease, those who are currently battling it and encouraging everyone to see their doctor and be tested to try and avoid becoming a victim of this type of cancer.”

From Charlotte, the Randy Hill Racing team plans to field an entry for Roderick at Texas Motor Speedway, the site of RHR’s home track and potentially the season finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway in November for the Ford 300.

The Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage (200 laps / 300 miles) is the 31^st of 34 races on the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series tour. The first practice session of the week begins on Thursday, October 13^th with a one hour and twenty minute session planned from 2:00 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. A final fifty minute “happy hour” session has been etched in from 6:10 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Qualifying is set for race day set to launch at 3:05 p.m. The field will take the green flag shortly after 8:00 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN2, the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite, Channel 90). Pre-race coverage of the contest lifts off at 7:00 p.m. also on ESPN2.

DOVER, Delaware (October 5, 2011) – - Despite taking the checkered flag in the 28^th position at Dover (Del.) International Speedway in Saturday’s OneMain Financial 200 driving the No. 70 ACU.edu / Randy Hill Racing Chevrolet Impala SS in a joint effort between Jay Robinson Racing (JRR) and Randy Hill Racing (RHR), Casey Roderick’s oval debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) was considered a success after he saw both the green and checkered flags.

A commendable top-20 finish in his second career NASCAR Nationwide Series start looked realistic in Saturday’s 200-lap slugfest but a series of obstacles including a shock failure set the tone for the end result at the “Monster Mile.”

Still Roderick, 19, made the best of the situation and soldiered on to earn respect from his fellow competitors while also acquire crucial seat time that will aid him in his remaining 2011 NNS schedule.

Producing the 33^rd fastest time in the lone practice session of the weekend on Friday and maneuvering the 36^th fastest lap in qualifying, Roderick quickly stepped up to the plate when the green flag dropped by moving into the 26^th position by the completion of lap two.

Continuing to maneuver towards the top-20, Roderick would find himself battling the cars of Mike Wallace, Blake Koch and Scott Riggs while also putting laps on the scoreboard.

A competition caution at lap 40 found Roderick as the last car on the lead lap and an opportunity to bring his No. 70 ACU.edu / Randy Hill Racing Chevrolet Impala SS to pit road for fuel and a chassis adjustments.

On the restart, the former ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards winner attempted to gain track position but the lack of rubber underneath his No. 70 ACU.edu / Randy Hill Racing Chevrolet Impala SS eventually allowed the lead pack to tag onto the rear of Rockerick’s automobile to take him off the lead circuit.

After a gallant effort, the yellow flag would waive a short time later with Roderick being the first car one-lap down and the beneficiary of being the “Lucky Dog”, which allowed the team to re-obtain their status on the lead lap.

The call from crew chief Dave Fuge Jr. allowed Roderick to come down pit road for some much needed Goodyear rubber before returning to the track at the tail end of the longest line, the rule regulated for returning to the lead lap.

As the race pressed on and running competitively in the top-25, Roderick’s day would slowly begin to take a downhill turn. Just after the halfway point, a right front shock failure ultimately severed the splitter on the front-end of the No. 70 ACU.edu / Randy Hill Racing Chevrolet Impala SS, almost immediately throwing handling issues into play for the Lawrenceville, Georgia native.

The mishap would force an unscheduled green flag stop which took the team out of contention towards a good finish. From then, it was staying out of trouble and logging laps for Roderick and Co. While Carl Edwards went on to win Saturday’s race in dominating fashion, Roderick hunkered down and fought his way to the 28^th place finish in his Dover International Speedway debut.

“Dover is by far, my favorite race track,” offered Roderick. “I want to thank Randy (Hill), Jay (Robinson) and the efforts of Jay Robinson Racing and Spraker Racing Enterprises for making the race possible. We had some setbacks which prevented us from a better finish, but that’s over and done with and we just have to move forward with our heads held high. I’m grateful for the experience and the opportunity to compete at Dover and in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. In the end, we completed our goals and came here and did what we planned to do. Now, we can turn our concentration towards our next race and work on building towards a good finish.”

For Hill, he was exceptionally pleased with the effort of his young vibrant driver.

“I can’t say enough about Casey,” said Texas entrepreneur Randy Hill. “He did a great job even in some times of turmoil during the race. He could have easily gotten frustrated and we could have had a different outcome. However, his maturity though takes him beyond his years and he showed that in style at Dover. We’re looking forward to our remaining races and building a stronger presence in the series next year.”

With his effort on Saturday, Roderick was approved by NASCAR on Monday to compete at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway for the running of the Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage on Friday, October 14^th where he will return to the No. 08 Randy Hill Racing Ford Mustang in an effort led by Motorsports veteran Jeff Spraker.

Next up for the NASCAR Nationwide Series is a trip out West to Kansas Speedway for the running of the Kansas Lottery 300 set for Saturday, October 8, 2011.
