Randy Hill had the privilege of being involved with the Jacob’s Dream Project in 2006.

According to the ACU website, Jacob’s Dream was commissioned to honor the generosity of Grace L. Woodward and the Woodward family of Kerrville, Texas.

Bob Woodward, Grace’s son, started the Grace L. Woodward Memorial Endowment Trust in 1998 in honor of his mother, who died in 1997.  The $26.5 million bequest was dedicated to Abilene Christian University’s College of Biblical Studies and is one of the 10 largest private gifts in the history of higher education in Texas.  The Woodward family has a long history of philanthropy, often using their resources anonymously to fund churches and children’s homes.
