March 2004
Randy Hill, President of APT Advanced Trailer & Equipment, met with Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue during the annual Peanut Butter and Jelly Day at the Georgia State Capitol, sponsored by the Georgia Peanut Commission. Randy Hill’s new peanut trailer drying plant is locating in Dooly County close to the Governor’s hometown of Warner Robins.
When introducing himself, Hill said “Governor my name is Randy Hill and I’m bringing jobs to Dooley County.” After a lengthy discussion about peanuts, trailers and Texas Quail hunting, they agreed to get together soon in Texas for a Quail Hunt at one of Hill’s West Texas ranches.
