September 2007

Randy Hill, President of APT Advanced Trailer & Equipment, announces that Nueces Power Equipment (NPE) was the highest bidder at the recent Ritchie Bros Auction. A record number of auction lots attracted an international bidding audience to the unreserved industrial auction conducted by Ritchie Bros. at its Fort Worth site on September 26, 27 & 28, 2007.

“We are very, very happy with the results of the auction,” said Randy Hill, President of APT. “As a seller, I want to know that I’m getting true market value for my property and equipment.  Ritchie Bros. attracts a global audience. Their marketing and advertising bring in the buyers from outside the local market. If I’d used a local auction company, I don’t think I would have achieved the same results.”  Hill added, “I am very pleased with my decision to use Ritchie Bros to retire this portion of the business. There is great value in the ability to sell a substantial amount of assets and the real estate associated with those assets all in one organized setting in just three days time.”

NPE is planning an open house celebration in mid-October.
