Randy Hill, President of APT Advanced Trailer & Equipment, announces plans for an upcoming visit to the University of Idaho to discuss the potential of drying woodchips to increase efficiency and lower utility costs. In anticipation of the upcoming meeting with University officials, Hill notes, “the University expends a great deal of their resources in simply trying to power the University’s heating mechanism.” Hill adds, “I believe APT can assist in drying the woodchips so that they use far less than they do when they are filled with moisture. There’s a real opportunity for significant savings for the University.”
